Andrew Murphy

Andrew Murphy has visited us twice from Tasmania. Finished wood cutter and sculptor he has left his unique pieces for display and use. Currently continues his works in the collective Astray Estudio on the island.
Audun Waage
The Norwegian Audun Waage jazz trumpeter and producer has worked in the studio for 7 years. During his stay he has recorded two albums. Now a new larger professional studio has been built in the city where he is setting up his record label.
Claudia Virginia Vitari

The Italian artist Claudia Virginia Vitara worked for two years in the studio. Her work consists of screen-printed and molded glass, covering social issues and marginalised groups. She currently lives between Barcelona and Berlin
Dani Tomás

Dani Tomás builder and ex-member of the Fura dels Baus, musician and trapeze artist from Maresme. From the beginning he spent the first year in the studio developing aerial structures and exploring vertical dance. He currently runs a vertical dance school in Mataró.
Diego Cáceres

Argentine artist Diego Oscar Cáceres worked in Nau 1 for three years. He paints portraits, urban landscapes and draws comics while also experiment with collages utilising all kinds of material. A critical artists on the social realities that surround us without using his sarcastic and provocative sense of humor. He currently has his workshop at Casa Taller Galería in the same city.
Èric Boada Ferrer

Artist of the city, self-taught and promoter of Nau1, has worked for five years at Nau1 in research, construction and design. After three years in Ireland experimenting in the large format for the Opera House and great productions, he returns to the city to promote a scenographic recycling project and author’s stage design.
Jafet San Martín

Jafet SanMartín. The sculptor from Granada has made a significant evolution in five years of working in Nau 1. Starting in an individual space he has grown his activity to become a company with a full team producing performance props and asthetic elements for movies, videos and role-playing games.
Jeroen Smiths

Jeroen Smits is a Dutch carpenter who lived for eight years in the Canaries participating in the construction of carnivals. Involved mainly in dance productions. His collection of lamps made from materials which speak to you stand out for thier elegance and originality. After five years of residence in Nau 1, Jeroen has opened his own workshop and has been established indefinitely in the city.
John Mann

John Mann the California artist, hit cartoonist, who left Hollywood with more than 30 storyboards behind him. He stayed for 18 months in Nau 1 in which time he explored the city.
Lara Gómez

The Catalan artist Lara Gómez shared the study of Nau 1 for two years, developing her glazes and ceramics with her own kiln. She currently teaches at Massana School and has her workshop at Casa Taller Galería.
Manu Valencia

Manu Valencia of Colombia spent a year at Nau1 developing fashion collections. She currently lives in the city with several catwalk shows presented through out the country.
Mark Redden

Irishman Mark Redden shared the studio in Nau 1 for seven years. A painter and sculptor from Ireland and an ambassador and master in the construction of currachs. He has organized the currach regatta of Barcelona for the last eight years. For the last four years he has had his own studio in Barcelona at Nave 12.
Eyestyles
Eyestyles. Austrian artist made a short stay in the Nau1 to make an carousel serigraphic print machine in four colours and portable. He mixes the disciplines of graphic design, sound and metal construction. Currently, he is focused on the design of metal furniture.

Naroma Alx

Naroma has made intermittent stays in Nau 1, she works in visual arts through collage and lighting design. Her attention to detail in her events and her commitment to social struggle has made her one of the most popular DJs in the underground scene in Barcelona and Berlin. Currently living between Barcelona and Germany.
Raul de Zoe

Raul de Zoe is a restless neighborhood artist who during his two-year stay in the studio explored different artistic fields; Painting, photography, graphic art, furniture, percussion, dance, DJ … Currently continuing his search.
Tom Campbell

The Scottish artist Tom Campbell has worked a season in the workshop painting and creating sculptures while organizing performances in the city of Barcelona. He participated, in 2013, in the decoration of Ciudad Real street for the celebrations of Gracia with his curious sculptures made from paper mache. He is currently based in the Irish city of Cork where he continues to create his art and organize musical
